As part of Dad's Army night on BBC2 in 2000 when Dads Army was 40 years old. This documentary is a portraite of Arthur Lowe, whose role as captain Mainwaring, the pompous learder of Warmington-on-Sea Home Guard, is one of Britains favourite comedy characters. This documentary shows you the man behind the characters he played.
