How to age Modern Decor
Don't throw out all of your decor pieces when switching your home style. Our tastes often shift over time but with paint finishes you can take your decor pieces along for the ride! In this video we take a very slick modern finish on a decorative piece and age it out. Know that the finished look can vary significantly depending upon the base colour coats you use. I went with something that would not likely have been your obvious first choice to show what I mean by allowing colours to 'echo' up through the piece and how subsequent layers of washes temper its intensity.
