2022 Duet Gala

In 2022, Cape Town Opera and the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra held its highly anticipated Duet Gala, an enchanting evening of operatic brilliance. The event, held at the Artscape Theatre Centre in Cape Town, South Africa, captivated audiences with its mesmerizing performance by world-class singers and orchestra members. From start to finish, the Duet Gala showcased extraordinary talent, passion, and vocal prowess. The Duet Endowment Trust, launched in August 2014, aims to build a fund, grow the capital and ensure there is sufficient income to provide ongoing injections of money to its joint beneficiaries the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and Cape Town Opera. The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and Cape Town Opera are a vital part of the cultural life of Cape Town and make an essential contribution to the cultural heritage of South Africa.
