FORECAST | Hot and Steamy Weekend, More Rain Next Week

It’s a warm and humid start today with a mostly clear morning, but his temperatures rise and our Seabreeze moves in in the afternoon. It could spark a quick straight shower. We’re gonna keep a low rain chance for the umbrella forecast afternoon. Highs are going to reach into the lower in mid 90s across the area and stain. Muggy look ahead towards this weekend. We’ll keep little rain chances for Saturday. We’re gonna watch out for rain to increase late Sunday, but the big thing for the next couple of days is going to be the hot, humid weather, heat, and the sea, looking to climb into the triple digits for this weekend an update into the tropics. Our area of development is still at a low 10% chance and it still only has a short window if it wants to develop as it moves in the southern Gulf and then most likely into Mexico by Saturday night Sunday morning, and then it’s not a threat for tropical development, but some of that moisture could start to linger up towards our area as we head towards next week and increase our rain chances. This could cause a concern for flash flooding Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of next week.
