How to Survive in the City, or the "City Survival Course" offered in Olsztyn by Universal Survival, is a unique and one-of-a-kind training course in Poland. It takes place in a functioning city, often among unsuspecting residents. It incorporates adventure (simulation) elements that surprise participants and immerse them in the realities of urban survival, as well as workshop blocks where they can learn and practice selected urban survival techniques at a leisurely pace (e.g., lighting a fire, improvising smokeless fuel, water distillation, self-defense, first aid, safe weapon handling, tactics for reconnaissance and safe exploration, etc.). Urban survival is a significant challenge for any survivalist or prepper, and can even pose a significant threat and potential risk to the unwary. A civilian in war will find themselves in a particularly extreme situation, as Polish 20th-century history, as well as the recent, tragic events in Ukraine, teach us. The Urban Survival Course is aimed at any adult interested in being prepared for various mass emergencies and local dangerous events. It's worth learning how to survive in the city, not only in terms of assembling an evacuation backpack or theoretical knowledge, but above all in terms of practical experience, understanding your natural reactions and reflexes, and deepening your self-awareness.
