Russian Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Ozerov commented on a statement from the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs to CANAL 5, in which the ministry denied reports of Russian diplomatic couriers being detained at Chisinau Airport. Previously, the Russian side stated that two couriers were detained at Chisinau Airport and were required to search their diplomatic bags. Moscow called this a violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations regarding the immunity of diplomats and their bags.
