Despite the advances of the Psychiatric Reform, many Brazilian cities still lack Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS). Faced with this reality, health and social assistance professionals face an important challenge: how to guarantee mental health care in the territory even without this fundamental device of the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS)? In this class, we will reflect on possible ways to organize mental health care in municipalities that do not have CAPS, exploring strategies for network articulation, strengthening primary care, and building territorial practices that expand access to care. In this class, we will discuss: ✨ Challenges of mental health care in municipalities without CAPS. ✨ Strategies for organizing care based on primary care and the existing network. ✨ Pathways to strengthen territorial articulation and expand access to psychosocial care. Specialist in the Dynamic Occupational Therapy Method from CETO and in Chemical Dependency from UNIFESP. Has experience in child and adolescent mental health and in the management of highly complex health services. Currently, she is the supervisor of the Multiprofessional Residency in Mental Health at UNICAMP and a researcher at the Interfaces Laboratory of the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM-UNICAMP). She also works as a clinical-institutional supervisor of RAPS services in the metropolitan region of Campinas and as a supporter in the implementation project of Matrix Support in the Federal District.
