Today is the BIG DAY, the biggest and most exciting, but yet nerve-racking thing we've done in our narrowboat, crossing the wash! A journey of over 48 miles and almost 10 hours! From zig-zagging the sandbank-ridden tidal Ouse, smashing through waves out at sea and crash landing onto a beach. All in our canal boat, which was designed for a two-foot stagnant ditch.
