Mano a mano: revitalización de oficios artesanales vinculados a la edición y fabricación de libros

We invite you to discover the results of this training experience led by the Caro y Cuervo Institute, the Boyacá School Workshop Foundation, and the Directorate of Strategy, Development, and Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Knowledge. During the process, participants explored composition and assembly techniques using movable type, linotype and Ludlow printing, artisanal bookbinding, community publishing, and editorial creation. You will have the opportunity to speak with the artists and designers who participated in the training, view the pieces they created, and attend the certificate presentation. We'll see you this Friday, July 10, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Ignacio Chaves Auditorium at the Caro y Cuervo Institute. Seating is limited. There will be a live stream on the ICC's Facebook and YouTube channels. In addition, from July 10 to 17 you can visit the exhibition of graphic and editorial creations in the newspaper archive of the José Manuel Rivas Sacconi Library.
