REVIEW: Dream Gouger ~ after one year of use ~

Hello oboists and oboe fans! In this week's video I'm reviewing the MusEcho Dream Gouger after a full year of use. In this year I made 97 reeds on this gouge: -3 reeds on my first machine which I had to return -34 reeds on the "B" blade of my second machine -60 reeds on the "C" blade of my second machine I really had not much luck with reeds that I liked playing on that sounded good on the "B" blade, but I have made many excellent reeds on the "C" blade which has thinner sides, as explained in the video. I hope this video is helpful to those thinking of purchasing a gouger. I hope it can help inform you of the supposed characteristics of each gouge and whether you want to pursue a traditional gouger or a newer generation one.
