"In Focus California" - America 250 show

As the country celebrates it's 250th anniversary, host Tanya McRae explores as special exhibition at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley that offers visitors a chance to reflect on the people, events and ideals that shaped America’s 250 years. The exhibit takes visitors on a journey through the moments and milestones that span from the Revolutionary War era through the Reagan presidency and includes rare historical artifacts on display for the first time. McRae also talks to the chairman of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, Fred Ryan Jr., to look back at President Reagan’s impact as “The Great Communicator” and the influence of his words and leadership. Rep. Young Kim joins the conversation to reflect on what makes the experience of becoming an American so meaningful, and highlights community celebrations taking place in California’s 40th Congressional District.
