Sligo Fiddle Music

Séamus & Manus McGuire from Sligo play two reels-- two brothers,two fiddles, two doctors, two brilliant musicians. Seamus and Manus are from Sligo town. Seamus is a consultant in the General Hospital in Letterkenny, County Donegal. and has released a scorching recording with fellow Letterkenny resident (native of Co. Leitrim) Sean Lee on flute entitled An Ril ar Lar (prn = uhn reel air laar - The missing reel". Manus is in general practice in east Clare. Their recording "The Humours of Lisadell" is probably most representative of their duet playing. Manus is also a member of the band "Moving Cloud" who have recently recorded.
