New Hairmyres Station Opening and First Train

The first train arrives at 46:25 in the video. The new Hairmyres station is now open! Upon the station’s opening at 07:45 on Sunday, 18 May 2025, I gave a thorough tour of the station, boarded the first train to call at the station, the 08:30 to Glasgow Central, alighted at Busby, and returned on the first train towards East Kilbride to call at the station.
