Ecclesia Mission will be holding the Omer Count Prayer Meeting again this year, 2025! We hope that the 50 days leading up to Pentecost, starting this coming Monday, will be a time of seeking the Lord even more earnestly. 🙏 We ask that you walk with us as we reflect on the meaning of this time in prayer. This video is a re-edited version of footage from 2020. This year, Passover is on April 12, the Feast of Unleavened Bread is on April 13, and Omer Day 1 begins on April 14. Omer Day 49 is on June 1, and Pentecost is from June 2 to 3. Passover: A day commemorating the experience of salvation by those inside the gates where the blood of the lamb was smeared during the Exodus. It is celebrated on the 14th of Nisan in the biblical calendar. Feast of Unleavened Bread: A period of seven days spent refraining from any labor and exercising restraint in joy, in remembrance of the suffering endured in Egypt. - Feast of Firstfruits: A day to offer the joy of the first harvest. Pentecost: The day the wheat harvest begins in Israel.
