In this documentary, we visit Uzundere Village in Karabağlar district of İzmir and witness a very special cultural heritage that has been preserved for centuries: the Tahtacı Turkmen "Baş Bağlama Ceremony" (Turkmen head/Alevi head). This ancient tradition, performed by the groom's side, is announced to the entire village, signifying, "We have taken this bride, her head is now bound." In this unique cultural ritual held after the wedding, cauldrons boil in a communal effort, neighbors help each other, and the traditional "Üç Etek" (Three Skirts) dress is adorned with prayers. The famous "somersault" moment, where the mother-in-law expresses her desire for her daughter-in-law through body language, and much more are in this documentary.
