THREADING THE OVERLOCKER

In this video we will show you how to thread Chinese overlocker/serger Meishi GN1-1. It’s not hard, but it’s tricky. ►NOTE◄ First unplug the power cord for safety! Use tweezers to thread the overlocker easier. ☼ Threading the upper looper: 0:08 ►NOTE◄ Removing the side plate is optional You can thread the upper looper without removing the side plate. However, if you remove it – use a magnetic screwdriver, because the screws are very small and you can lose them. ☼ Threading the needle: 2:48 In my experience I found that the tension dial on the needle thread should be tighter than the upper and lower loopers.
