South Cove County Park

We recently stayed at South Cove County Park. It was a Clemson home football weekend and the accessibility to the Seneca side of campus was convenient. The campground was full for the weekend, but we reserved our site through Monday to avoid the crowd leaving Sunday morning. The only thing that we don’t like about this campground is the noon checkout. It was worth the extra $30 to be able to stay and video the campground and enjoy the water all day Sunday. And of course, no line at the dump station at 6pm. The campground is very nice. The grounds are well kept. The sites are all gravel, and reasonably level. Most of the sites are on the water, but all of them have a view of the lake. Access into the water is a little difficult due to the large rip-rap that lines the banks of the entire campground.
