And no — I am not ranking these countries based on luxury resorts, kids' clubs, or whether the hotel has a waterslide. I am ranking them as a mom who has actually traveled internationally with children. In this video, I rank my 10 best countries in the world for kids based on family-friendly culture, transportation, outdoor adventures, educational experiences, food, safety, ease of travel, and one very important question: Did my kids actually enjoy being there? I also share why some destinations are better for a family's first international trip, which countries are ideal for active and adventurous kids, and why I believe the best family travel destinations are not always the places with the most "kid attractions." Sometimes the best countries for children are simply the places that give them room to explore, participate, ask questions, eat something new, and experience a culture instead of just watching it.
