SF Muni 2013 New Flyer XDE40 #8720 on Route 39 Coit (40-Foot Version)
Recorded on June 18, 2026 from North Point & Stockton to Powell & Union. 40-foot buses were used on the 39 and all other 30-foot routes due to brake issues on the 30-foot buses. The 39 had to skip the parts of the route that go to Coit Tower and Union between Stockton and Montgomery, making the 39 like a shuttle between Fisherman's Wharf and Washington Square.
