Rapper Boosie Badazz is suing political operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman after paying them $600,000 for a presidential pardon that never happened. Boosie claims their contract guaranteed a 50% refund if the pardon was unsuccessful. Boosie (real name Torence Hatch) hired the two lobbyists last year to help him secure a pardon for a federal firearm possession case. Wohl and Burkman allegedly presented themselves as having direct access to President Donald Trump. They even told Boosie's legal team on New Year's Day that the pardon had already been signed, but it never surfaced. Despite not receiving a pardon, Boosie ultimately avoided prison time.
