5/8 is incredible for electronic music - just listen for yourself

The vast majority of producers make their tracks in 4/4 time in part because odd time signatures are kind of terrifying if you don't know how to work in them. There isn't a single time signature that's more daunting than 5/8 (or 5/4) and that's because it's just so close to being in four but it's off kilter enough to be tricky.
