easyJet Flight Report Edinburgh to Belfast 19/06/2023

Welcome back to another video. Apologies for the lack of videos lately, I’ve been settling into my new job. Nonetheless, here is a flight report video! For people wondering, here is how I found the flight and some details about it! An hour after we landed into Edinburgh, we had an email saying our flight back to Gatwick had been cancelled due to bad weather back in London. In fact all London flights were cancelled. It wasn’t a massive issue though as we came up with a plan. We kept on plane spotting and booked next day flights for the return journey home. We had to travel via Belfast as all the other flights were fully booked. We stayed in a 5 star hotel near the airport before beginning our 9 hour journey back. Once at the airport and cleared through security, we were able to plane spot from a restaurant inside the terminal. Unfortunately due to Air Traffic Control restrictions, we were late pushing back from stand. We were further delayed on the taxiway because of the amount of traffic in front of us. The flight was half full and I also had a whole row to myself! Shortly after takeoff, we were rewarded with some rather picturesque scenery. We climbed to a cruising altitude of 24,000 feet for the short hop over to Belfast. After cruising for around 5 to 10 minutes, we were descending over Northern Island. Due to the amount of traffic and some rather rubbish weather in Belfast, we were put in a hold. Nonetheless, we eventually made it to Belfast safe and sound.
