What's the job? Designing art or craft exhibitions. First step: finding a strong concept, such as: an artist never before exhibited in France; a specific location, period, or theme (portraits on Instagram, for example). Secondly, they ensure the project's feasibility. To do this, they contact the relevant artists and collectors, work hard to secure funding, and approach galleries, art centers, and museums. For the exhibition design, they are assisted by scenographers. What studies are required? A university master's degree in Exhibition Art, the École du Louvre in Paris, or one of the fifty other art schools.
