He was Indian cricket’s finest bowler in the 1960s and 70s and was awarded Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1970. In 2004, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decorated him with the C K Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honour bestowed by BCCI on any former player. However, for Mr Prasanna, the pinnacle of his life's experiences is the opportunity Bhagawan blessed him with to be part of the Sri Sathya Sai Unity Cup held in Prasanthi Nilayam in 1997. In this conversation recorded with him in Oct 2024, he fondly recalls those nine months of 1997 as a 'miracle' when he saw how mysteriously Bhagawan worked through him to get the incredible done in the Hill View Stadium at Puttaparthi.
