It is a wonderful honour to receive and I am deeply touched by it but I am not one who particularly likes this kind of attention so that is the dilemma that I am in now but I am enjoying it now because my wife is rubbing my back now." SOUNDBITE (English) Richard Gere: "I know and some of them I am going to dread, some I will be happy with. It is going to be a whole grab bag." Carey Lowell, Wife of Richard Gere: "It's gonna be a lot of laughs I think." 10. SOUNDBITE (English) Richard Gere: "For my 50th birthday, Carey made a tape of my life and it was hysterical. It was embarrassing but it was hysterically funny. I hope what we are going to see tonight is funny." 11. (Reporter: Is there one role for you that sticks out in your mind?) 12. SOUNDBITE (English) Richard Gere: "No. I mean a huge moment in my life was when 'Chicago' just because it was so much fun. SOUNDBITE (English) Winona Ryder: "Well you know I worked with him a few years ago and he was just an amazing, generous...compassionate person to work with. You don't find a lot of actors who have those qualities especially big movie stars you know. And in fact that was my first time working with a full blown, I 've worked with movies stars before they were movies stars but and he was just so amazing to work with and I had such a great time and I wouldn't miss this for the world, I am really happy to be here." 15.
