#AIDS #gays #gaycommunity 40 Year Anniversary. A video homage to the never ending faces from 1983. The opening footage was sent to me by a friend several years ago, and I edited down. The footage of the '83 Gay Pride Parade was filmed by my late dear friend Donald Eckert, and wanted to share with all of you. Many people have contacted me over the years identifying familiar friends and faces in this video whom have long passed, "ghosts", which were captured here as an homage to their life. Each face captured in this video had a story full of life, friends and family. A touching tribute, documenting the gay community as it was in 1983, one face at a time. Every face sadly passed from AIDS.
