2001 S10 Starter Replacement: EASY!!!
DISCLAIMER: I am not a certified mechanic. Any info in this is for entertainment purposes only. Consult a certified mechanic for any vehicle repairs. If you break something, it is not my fault! Now, here is how I replaced my S10 starter in a few hours. Overall, I would do it again. You do NOT have to remove the exhaust to get the starter out, nor is it too difficult (assuming no rusted bolts). I would have had to spend over $400-500 to get this replaced, also waiting a week for the shop to take the truck. I spent about $120 on the starter, plus $50 on tools I did not have. I would recommend having a set of offset box end wrenches and a pass through ratchet to make things easy. Thanks for watching! Joey BOOSTED
