Albanese's crushing regulations blamed for killing 400,000 potential Australian businesses
Sky News host Jaimee Rogers warns soaring insolvencies and mounting regulation are crushing Australian businesses. “Since Anthony Albanese became Prime Minister in 2022, more than 45,000 Australian businesses have entered insolvency," Ms Rogers said. “For four consecutive years, one in every four corporate insolvencies in Australia has come from the construction sector. “If you want to know why housing targets are becoming increasingly difficult to achieve, start there. “The Institute of Public Affairs says almost 400,000 businesses that could have been created between 2005 and 2019 never got off the ground because of Australia's ever-growing red tape burden. “The Prime Minister says he wants real change. So do Australians. But real change doesn't come from taxing aspiration.”
