‘Fake’: Meghan Markle's new Netflix lifestyle series receives scathing reviews

Broadcaster Dee Dee Dunleavy has criticised Meghan Markle's new cooking show, ‘With Love Meghan,’ labelling it a “fake” production that fails to connect with the audience. The Duchess of Sussex's eight-part series premiered on the streaming giant on Tuesday and sees the 43-year-old invite famous guests, including actress Mindy Kaling and millionaire Vicky Tsai, to a rental property in Montecito to share cooking, gardening, and hosting tips. “There's something so fake, that little thing of her going in to surprise people where she, the little shush, who's she shushing? Me sitting on my couch at home watching the video," she told Sky News host Rita Panahi. "And then there's a very quick edit when she says, what did y'all think? And then a quick edit away. Cause I'm sure there was just a stunned silence in the room. I've tried just to sum up what I think is wrong with it."
