“A Narrative” is the title of a series of conversations that narrate the personal and social experiences of prominent Iranian figures. In the first episode of the new series of this program, we sit down with Ohdieh Badiei, a famous singer living in Madrid, Spain. Ms. Ohdieh, who was born on September 20, 1949, in addition to performing more than 50 traditional music songs on the “Flowers” ​​program of Radio Iran, has about 300 songs in other styles in her artistic repertoire, and more than 700 songs have been broadcast with her voice in the subtitles of Iranian films. Despite her artistic interest and activity, Ohdieh Badiei is a graduate of the accounting department of the University of Tehran. In this narration, she says that her mother would often take her to the radio building in Arak Square as a child, until finally, after a year of going and sitting in the studio and waiting, she managed to sing on the “Kook” program.
