Fighting Game Bosses 214. Marvel vs Capcom 2 - Abyss boss battle

Abyss... is a pretty lame boss actually. He has three separate phases. During phase one, it takes a form of a big suit of armor and uses slows attacks, most of which can be easily avoided simply by jumping over it. If it uses the big laser super, you can hit him in the back with a big laser of your own or another similar super. During phase two, it becomes some sort of jelly man and uses ranged attacks. Respond in kind and zone him out. It can create big bubbles that trap you and cannot be blocked, but it doesn't usually result in big damage. Phase three is a pain in the ass, since it often either zones you out with projectiles that come out from below or just moves outside the bounds of the arena where you can't hit it. On the plus side, it still takes a ton of damage from beam supers or any other continuous attacks. #MarvelvsCapcom2 #MvC2Abyss #freemvc2
