Casting With Zinc - Sand Casting a Sand Rammer - Casting Zinc Pirate Coins - The Growing Stack

Today I melted down a giant zinc ingot to sand cast a sand rammer. I got a pattern from Thingiverse.com from NorthStarJack: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:407... I also poured some nice zinc coins with the leftover zinc I had in the crucible and even a couple of small ingots. I had some air pockets that formed in the sand rammer.
