We NEED to Talk About Ichi the Witch!

I finally sat down and read Ichi the Witch, one of Weekly Shonen Jump's fastest-rising fantasy manga, and I came away with mixed feelings. Chapters discussed without major late-story spoilers. What do you think of Ichi the Witch so far?
