This trip made me so happy. Enough said. A little backpacking, camping, hiking, all in one of my new favorite places in Japan. After dealing with back-to-back typhoons where I live and staying indoors, it was incredible to adventure in the Okunikko area and have some time in nature. Highlights and Important Notes: I arrived at Tobu-Nikko Station and took a bus to the Okunikko area. There is a bus stop right at the campground I stayed at, so I used my Nikko pass to ride the bus all the way there! Lovely.
