Roy Elghanayan was required to demonstrate his knowledge and expertise in Krav Maga, self-defense, mixed martial arts, Judo, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, and Israeli Jiu-Jitsu in front of Master Mati Elyashiv, a 9th-degree black belt based in Israel. The test lasted a total of three hours and included a surprise component in which Roy had to demonstrate survival skills against multiple attackers while blindfolded. The attacks ranged from common chokes and grabs to gun and knife threats. The final stage of the examination consisted of live fighting. This test was conducted for his 4th-degree black belt.
