Dywan na szydełku. Dywan ze sznurka bawełnianego. "Dywan królewski"

The rug is made of 5 mm cotton cord from Radkar www.sznurki-bawelniane.pl. I wholeheartedly recommend them; I've been knitting with them for years because they're of very high quality. The cord I used had frayed several times, which is completely invisible. I knitted in color 725. For a 115 cm diameter, I used about 630 meters. I ordered loose cord, meaning one length, so I didn't have to sew the skeins together – I highly recommend it :) The lace is about 20 cm high and consists of 7 rows. The center is made with a snail stitch (a method of knitting without closing rows) and is 78 cm in diameter.
