Do Not Fear the Doubt (Acts 2:14-32, 1 Peter 1:3-9, John 20:19-31, Psalm 16)

Sermon preached April 12, 2026 by Pastor Michael Kidd at Four Winds Reformed Church (CREC) in northeast Arkansas. The disciples thought it was too good to be true—and in a sense, they were right to wonder. This sermon traces the risen Christ's appearances in John 20, Peter's declaration of living hope in 1 Peter 1, and Peter's Pentecost sermon in Acts 2, calling us to see that the blessing Jesus pronounces on those who have not seen yet believe is an invitation to live the resurrected life fully, even in the midst of trials, doubt, and fire.
