India can punish you without a good attitude. Welcome to the monsoon.

Today I walk the streets of Cochin talking to locals and tryting to stay dry as the rain falls during monsoon. I first meet three men who belong to a community group that walks six kilometres every morning along the water's edge before doing good deeds for their neighbors. I take you to what appears to be the best restaurant in town for a masala dosa as everyone in the establishment is eating it. I ask a couple of diners about the ingredients of this particular dosa, show a menu with prices, and give you my opinion of the great food. Recently I've been coming under some scrutiny and criticism for the way I simplify my language when talking to some people. I try to explain my reasons for doing it and apologise if it annoys some people. There are four things I bring with me when traveling India and I explain why you might want to consider bringing them as well. Lastly I come across a beautiful church which we view from the outside. A wet but great walk around Cochin.
