After Nicolás Maduro's arrest, we did a truck ride to Cúcuta and decided to cross the border to see firsthand how people are experiencing this historic moment. On this journey, we crossed from Colombia to the border, showing the atmosphere on the road, the checkpoints, and everything we experienced entering a country undergoing one of the most significant changes in its recent history. During our trip, we spoke with Venezuelan entrepreneurs to understand how the economic situation has changed after the fall of the Maduro government. We visited streets, businesses, and different places where many people told us how they are surviving, what has improved, and what new challenges Venezuela faces in this new era. But the hardest part wasn't getting in… it was trying to get out. When we were about to return, the Venezuelan National Guard stopped us because of the type of truck we were traveling in, and for a moment we didn't know if we would actually be able to get back to Colombia.
