WWII Hawker Typhoon veteran Bernard Gardiner celebrates his 100th birthday at the RAF Club, London.
On the 15th and 16th April 2022, Bernard Gardiner, his family, and a number of guests convened at the RAF Club, London, to give him the 100th birthday celebration he so rightly deserved. The event was organised by us, the Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group, because Bernard is such a strong supporter of our project to raise the funds required to rebuild Hawker Typhoon RB396 and return her to flight. To be like Bernard, and support our efforts, please head over to our website to find out more and to get involved. The project is all in the name of people like Bernard and his colleagues, especially the 666 who didn't return home at the end of the war an have the privilege of growing old - some hadn't even grown up. Once again, Bernard, many happy returns and thank you for everything that you have done, and continue to do in support of this project. www.hawkertyphoon.com
