Using Data To Find The Most (And Least) Intimidating Pitchers

Use my code NMF10 at https://bit.ly/4eTAHNh to get 10% on top of the Memorial Day sale currently active on Aerless's site. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Intimidation is the greatest soft tool in baseball. It dicates the game in many different ways. There's nothing better than watching a hitter who, even it doesn't translate to performance, scares the heck out of the pitcher. I wanted to use public data to see if we could statistically prove who is the most (and least) intimidating hitter in the sport right now. __________________________________________________________________________ All data taken from stathead.com, fangraphs.com and Baseballsavant.mlb.com *Note on the IVB measurements: the data I used was pulled from Fangraphs who get their data from SportsInfo. This means both have the constant of gravity factored in the induced vertical break unlike Statcast that takes gravity out. The numbers are still commensurate with each other and the data is accurate.
