Even today, the mystery of the Templar treasure haunts humanity. Sacred manuscripts, archives, and relics removed from the Temple of Solomon in the 12th century disappeared without a trace. In 1307, the Templars were outlawed and, according to one theory, transported their most valuable treasures to Prussia, where they joined the Teutonic Order. The Order's medieval era was brought to an end by its last Master, Albrecht of Brandenburg. In his will, he designated several castles that could be connected to the mystery of the missing treasure. We'll travel to castles: Waldau, Labiau, and Tapiau. We'll visit St. Anne's Church, where Martin Luther's daughter is buried. We'll examine ceiling paintings and mysterious symbols, and learn how dolls were made in the Middle Ages and why making them could lead to being burned at the stake. We'll tell you who Paul Scalich (Skalich) is and how he became Duke Albrecht's favorite.
