2 Game Changing RV Bathroom Upgrades - You’ll Wish You Had Sooner & you Can in 10 Minutes!! The RV bathroom is not always a glamourous place, but it doesn’t have to feel crappy either…pun intended. So, we are making a couple upgrades so our RVing experience can be more enjoyable, cleaner and yes, quieter too! In fact, we think they should come standard on every camper. First: the toilet seat. The one that came with our trailer is cheap-o plastic. It creaks and groans when you sit, it’s hard to clean in all the lid nooks and crannies and it slams closed so loud it wakes up the whole family. So we are swapping it out for one a solid wood, slow close toilet seat that will make that toilet feel more like a throne. Second: Maxx Air Vent Fan Cover. Moisture is an RV’s worst enemy, so the bathroom fan is a must when showering to avoid mold, mildew and water damage, but weather often makes that impossible. However, this cover still allows for great venting, and the cover can be left open even when it’s windy or rainy. Plus we don’t even have to drill any holes in our roof. Bonus!
