ELIMINATORY FAULTS IN THE MOTORCYCLE EXAM a) Starting the test without the helmet properly adjusted to the head or without a visor or protective glasses. b) Failing to follow the pre-established route. c) Knocking down one or more cones. d) Falling from the vehicle during the test. e) Not maintaining balance on the plank, going off laterally. f) Running a stop sign. g) Placing one or both feet on the ground while the vehicle is in motion. h) Causing an accident during the exam. i) Committing any other very serious traffic violation. SERIOUS FAULTS (THREE POINTS) a) Failing to place one foot on the ground and the other on the brake when stopping the vehicle. b) Invading any lane during the course. c) Incorrectly signaling or failing to signal. d) Driving the course with the headlight off. e) Committing any other serious traffic violation. MEDIUM FAULTS (TWO POINTS) a) Incorrectly using the equipment. b) Engaging or using inappropriate gears during the course. c) Not retracting the kickstart pedal or the vehicle's support before starting the course. d) Stopping the engine without just cause after the start of the test. e) Driving the vehicle during the exam without holding the handlebars with both hands, except occasionally to indicate maneuvers. f) Committing any other traffic violation of a medium nature. MINOR FAULTS (ONE POINT) a) Starting the engine when it is already in gear. b) Driving the vehicle causing irregular movement without justified reason. c) Adjusting the rearview mirrors during the exam. d) Committing any other traffic violation of a minor nature.
