#55 : Isolation laine de chanvre & Moineau

Over the weekend: I cleaned the sanding site a little, but not completely because I will have to do it again, then after taking care of this little sparrow, I was able to continue laying the hemp wool in 3 crossed layers. So why hemp wool? Insulation: the lambda, with 100mm and 160mm and 60mm, I will have an R of 8 It is a great insulation material for many reasons, but not only for its R precisely (which is not the highest): it resists frost better than mineral wool It has a much better phase shift (time it takes the temperature to pass through the material, during the summer so that it does not get too hot in particular) It has a better resistance to humidity (it can absorb it and release it), as well as to pests (counter-intuitively) It is above all ecological, requires almost no energy/pesticide to be produced, and is a good carbon store That’s it for this week :) I hope you enjoyed the video and I'll see you again very soon to continue the work!
