Inside Cambodia’s Darkest Chapter. Killing Fields of Phnom Penh
We went to Phnom Penhs killing fields Choeung Ek , where close to 9000 were murdered. It was pretty grim there. We saw the mass graves, where thousands of people were brutally murdered, by Pol Pots Khmer Rouge soldiers. We saw a tree where they hung a loud speaker, the speaker blasted out sounds to cover the wailing, and screaming of the people when they were being beaten to death. We saw the tree where that the soldiers smashed childrens heads against, to kill them. The pure savagery that happened is a dark stain on Cambodias history. We left feeling pretty sad. #cambodia #cambodiatravel #killingfields location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Fc1x8d9eLb6BG...
