The turtles are on the streets because Splinter was disappointed in the turtles because they failed to save Leo so he kicked them out. Leo was given a second chance at life but as a human and one day he went out and decided to take a walk and he found his brothers outside. As their big brother he was worried and wanted to know why they were outside so he went to ask Mikey what happened. Leo had to act like he didn't know them and it was very hard to do that. Mikey thought that it was Leo but when Leo acted like he didnt know them he just thought he was hallucinating. Mikey wondered why Leo wasn't running away from them since normally everyone does and Leo decided to tell him that he was his deceased big brother.
