We are a couple who moved from Tokyo to a resort condo in Izu. In this issue, we will introduce sightseeing spots in the Ajiro district of Minami-Atami. In Izu, there are several stone quarries where the stones for the stone walls of Edo Castle were cut. The large rocks, which still bear the marks carved by stonemasons during the Edo period, remain intact today. It is a little lonely place where few people go, but after climbing up a steep slope and rough mountain path, we found a wonderful view.
