Mercury Prize nominees Lanterns on the Lake
This is an interview with - until recently - the relatively obscure Newcastle band who were stunned to be shortlisted for the prestigious 2020 Mercury Prize. Their album "Spook the Herd" has been chosen as one of the 12 best albums of the year. Singer songwriter Hazel Wilde and guitarist Paul Gregory spoke to Sharuna Sagar in North Shields, where they live, ahead of the big announcement.
