The 5 Directions : North, South, East, West and Skyward, The 5 Tatvas (Elements) : Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Aakash The 5 Aksharas (Alphabets) : Na Ma Shi Va Ya The 5 Acts of divinity (Panchakriyas) Srishti' (सृष्टि) - creation, evolution 'Sthiti' (स्थिति) - preservation, support 'Samhara' (संहार) - destruction, evolution 'Tirobhava' (तिरोभाव) - illusion 'Anugraha' (अनुग्रह) - release, emancipation, grace But 'Shiva' the ultimate truth is the nothingness that is everything. Shiva means that which is not.
